Diangana or Antonio
Just thought I'd try to keep gank and one or two others happy by posting a West Ham thread - you can do it yourselves, fellas, if you're that bothered.

Anyway, given that we're so short of midfielders I'm assuming Snodgrass will play in the middle again, so who should replace Yarmo on the right wing? Antonio has had a few decent moments this season but is still looking a shadow of his former self. Diangana is inexperienced and a bit raw but looks fresh, positive and very promising. I would be inclined to start with him and maybe bring on Antonio after an hour. Any thoughts?

I'd go with Diangana to start - give the lad some confidence and he'll be hungrier than Antonio

Re: Diangana or Antonio
I'd be tempted to go with Antonio as he potentially offers a bit more of a goal threat...but can certainly see the argument for Diangana

If Anderson is going to play he has to play as a 10 after last weeks SHITSHOW
If he doesn't maybe Diangana and Antonio will both play

Re: Diangana or Antonio
Diangana without a doubt. The glimpses he has shown in recent weeks compared to the 'efforts' of Antonio imo means he is ahead of him.
One of the main problems I find now is that managers would prefer to play someone like Antonio who might have a good game for the first time in about 2 years over the inexperienced players. Look how we did with Rice, gave him a run and now he is arguably the first name down and unstoppable. Diangana could do the same, his effort and work rate in recent weeks suggests potential and he deserves his chance. Antonio can sit in the reserves and collect the 70k for all I care.

Re: Diangana or Antonio
Diangana showed some Guile and a quick footballing brain last week, but a couple times found himself surrounded when he could have released the ball.
He didn't spot an Anoutovic run and was duly bollocked.

He's still learning at this level

Good point, but if Anderson plays central I'm sure Snodgrass will be on one of the wings.

Re: Diangana or Antonio
Neither. They're both not up to this level. Having to e forced into playing either of them is a disgrace.

I'd play Anderson, Snodgrass and Perez. If they're fit.

Diangana because he can cross a ball

Re: Diangana or Antonio
Ive given up with Antonio, even though the squad is thin I don’t want him anywhere near the team. Even Doris is ahead of him in my eyes. However I prefer Snodders on the wing his crossing is excellent ..

Re: Diangana or Antonio
All this Diangana this and that, he's the second coming, blah, blah, blah, WHO shooting its creamy load over yet another young boy.

Did I miss something or am I right in thinking he's played 50 odd minutes of PL football, ever ? Did OK, some good, some bad, no more or less.

Having said which, anyone's better than that fat, thick as pigshit, useless fucking cunt Antonio.

Re: Diangana or Antonio
being a better option doesn't make him the second coming, only you've called him that

Re: Diangana or Antonio
Hmmm...seems to me I've seen a fair few eulogising him on here, as always when we see some new youngster in the C&B. He's done fuck all yet.

Mind you, Pelle's been comparing him to Santi Cazorla. Hope he's right.

Not sure what has happened to Antonio. He doesn’t seem to be bringing much to the table these days.

Re: Diangana or Antonio
Antonio seems unfit to me, still overweight and or struggling to get his weight down and fitness levels in synch. Temperament in question, lacks motivation perhaps?

Diangana all day long for me from what I saw v Spurs. Very quick and tricky unlike the slow and predictable Antonio.

Re: Diangana or Antonio
Antonio has to come good at some point! He has shown he can make things happen when coming on recently but the final ball or finish has let him down.
The young un can play in the Cup or come on if needed. We need to see if Antonio has a future with us or time to get rid in January. If he isn’t fit then there’s something wrong with the staff, has to be a lack of desire on his part or lack of confidence.

Re: Diangana or Antonio
I think the fat, useless, thick cunt is just a Championship player who played above himself when he got his first shot at the big time. To be used as a replacement only, for me, and sparingly at that.
